Tun Gen (Ret’d) Freddie Hashim, a founding patron of the Pinnacle Club of ASEAN and a distinguished former leader of the Malaysian Armed Forces, passed away on October 1, 2025. The Pinnacle Club Secretariat extended its deepest condolences.
The Pinnacle Club Secretariat is saddened to note the passing of Tun Gen (Ret’d) Freddie Hashim on 1 Oct 2025.
Gen (Ret’d) Hashim was a founding patron of the Pinnacle Club of ASEAN in 2014. He was a visionary who provided invaluable guidance in the setting up of the Club and was instrumental in its main purpose of fostering the camaraderie among retired military chiefs in the region.
Gen (Ret’d) Hashim was a very distinguished leader of the Malaysian Armed Forces. He served with the highest distinction and was known as an outstanding soldier and a gentleman. He was also very well known and respected by his peers in the ASEAN military forces.
