Stratagem Group and the NDRC-ICC held a closed-door roundtable dialogue in Beijing on November 11, 2025, continuing their cooperation agreement. The event focused on RMB Internationalization and the 14th Five-Year Plan, and included a subsequent visit by the Stratagem team to Xi'an and Chengdu.
Stratagem Group Pte Ltd held a closed-door roundtable dialogue with the International Cooperation Centre of National Development & Reform Commission (NDRC-ICC) on 11 November 2025 in Beijing. This closed-door roundtable dialogue between Stratagem Group and NDRC-ICC was organised arising from a cooperation agreement signed between the two organisations in September 2024.
The closed-door roundtable dialogue was hosted by Zhang Jidong (张继栋), Director, International Cooperation Department of NDRC-ICC. The Stratagem Group team was led by Goh Yong Siang, Chairman of Stratagem Group Pte Ltd. Also present at the dialogue were Stratagem Group’s Senior Advisor Mr Zainul Abidin Rasheed and Managing Director Mr Goh Kong Yong.
At the roundtable dialogue, Dr Xie Lanlan (谢兰兰), Associate Research Fellow, China Centre for International Economic Exchanges (中国国际经济交流中心), and Dr Gao Zhaoyu (高照钰), Associate Professor at University of International Business and Economics (对外经济贸易大学) respectively presented their views and perspectives on “Unlocking Investment Opportunities in the Era of RMB Internationalisation” and “Evaluation of the Impact of China’s 14th Five-Year Plan”. DR Xie and Dr Gao also facilitated the discussion after their presentations. The dialogue was a closed-door event with Chatham House rules applied to allow for free flow of casual and frank exchanges.
