Stratagem Roundtable on Sino-US Relations on 25 June 2025 in Singapore

Stratagem Group held a closed-door roundtable in Singapore focusing on the future of Sino-US relations and its impact on the global governance system.

Stratagem Group Pte Ltd held a Stratagem Roundtable on 25 June 2025 in Singapore. The event was a closed-door dialogue with Chatham House rules applied to allow for free flow of casual and frank exchanges. The theme of the event was “Prospects and Trajectory of Sino-US Relations and Impacts on Global Governance System”. Stratagem Group organised such events to regularly update the analytical frame Stratagem team applies to interpret data collected and sharpen the analysis of trends for consultancy projects commissioned by clients.      

The Roundtable event was moderated by Professor Thitinan Pongsudhirak of Chulalongkorn University. Some 25 participants from diverse professions took part in the Roundtable. A total of 5 distinguished speakers shared their views and facilitated lively discussion at the event:

  • Dr Victor Gao Zhikai, Vice President, Centre for China & Globalisation (CCG)
  • Professor Jiang Biao, Chief Scientific Officer of Chinese Academy of Sciences Innovation Centre (Bangkok) (CASICCB)
  • Mr Ignatius Lim, Head, International/Government Relations Asia Pacific, Shell PLC
  • Professor Joseph Liow, Dean, College of Humanities, Arts & Social Sciences, Nanyang Technological University (NTU)
