Stratagem Group Pte Ltd held a closed-door roundtable dialogue with the International Cooperation Centre of National Development & Reform Commission (NDRC-ICC) on 8 July 2025 in Beijing. This closed-door roundtable dialogue between Stratagem Group and NDRC-ICC was organised arising from a cooperation agreement signed between the two organisations in September 2024.

The closed-door roundtable dialogue was hosted by Zhang Jidong (张继栋), Director, International Cooperation Department of NDRC-ICC. The Stratagem Group team was led by Goh Kong Yong, Managing Director of Stratagem Group Pte Ltd.

At the roundtable dialogue, Wang Xiaohong (王晓红), Researcher at China Centre for International Economic Exchanges (中国国际经济交流中心), and Jia Jinjing (贾晋京), Senior Researcher at Chong Yang Finance Research Institute, Renmin University of China (中国人民大学重阳金融研究院), presented their views and perspective on the ongoing shifts in the global trade and tariff governance system initiated by the US. Professor Wang and Professor Jia also facilitated the discussion after their presentations. The dialogue was a closed-door event with Chatham House rules applied to allow for free flow of casual and frank exchanges.

As part of the itinerary, NDRC-ICC also arranged for the Stratagem Group team to visit 360 Security Technology (360安全科技) and Ant Group (蚂蚁集团) on 8 and 9 July respectively.
